OK, so I dug down to about -2700, then all of a sudden, I run into some kind of oil or toxic miasma. I kept either spontaneously combusting or asphyxiating. I did come upon this so-called ocean of oil. Is there some kind of magic or equipment I need to mine in that?
Also, how do I find steel? Steel is needed to craft armor, but all I find is iron, which doesn’t seem to be good for anything.
