Hello there, it’s me Kip, that guy that pops in every half year. I’ve noticed that the server is pretty void of life recently and I suggest that the server is restarted since all the old players aren’t playing anymore and have abandoned their builds and it would allow new players to start in a fresh untouched world and more appeal to them and make them more likely to stick around. I still have a passion for this server and want to see it grow but think that the world we have now isn’t allowing for growth and we really need a new world. Besides Toasterton is practically finished. 😀 -Kip
You’re 100% right. Actually, I was just thinking that myself! I’m so happy to see you both back again! Welcome back! Hey, I just registered mese.net a few weeks ago! I am and going to move a new site there with forums and I’d really appreciate it if you’d all join me there and help us move mesecraft and the mese net along!~ I’m sure we’ll get some new help and have more adventures ahead of us! Did you know Minetest is renaming itself to0! I guess great minds think alike, huh? 😀 anyways, I think we should restart the server too! I’ll download it now and back it up in case anyone ever wants access to their builds. Get ready for a brand new MeseCraft world and updates to begin again soon! <3
Heh, a hole has already been blasted into the ground at the spawnpoint and the village at spawn has been picked apart.
The server is down again?
I’m wondering if one reason for the deadness is the way the spawn area has been blasted up by AFK players getting attacked by boomers and random griefing. There are no significant player buildings immediately visible from spawn so it looks like a griefed wasteland at first glance. This isn’t the most attractive introduction to the server. This is why I built that protected structure around spawn on the last map but I’m not sure I can find the time to do a building of the same size this time.
