      I think it would add fun if crocs had a clock ticking sound so you could hear them approach (re: Capt.Hook in Peter Pan )

        While it would be funny, in real life crocodiles are actually completely silent so that they can stalk their prey without it knowing.

                There are actually many differences, first, Crocs tend to perfer saltwater, while Alligators are mostly found in freshwater. Second Alligators have u-shaped snouts while Crocs have v-shaped ones.Alligators also have a stronger bite. And there colors are usually different as well.
