    You can shift right-click to see what items can tame mobs.

    Crocodile: Still hurts you when tamed.
    Tamed by:
    – default games raw meat

    Kangaroo: Doesn’t follow you but attacks hostile mobs.
    Tamed by:
    – default games bush leaves

    Cow: CHEESE PRODUCTION
    Tamed by:
    – wheat

    Sheep: wool factory
    Tamed by:
    – wheat

    Chicken:
    Tamed by:
    – wheat seed
    – cotton seed

    Rabbit: x99 rabbit hide
    Tamed by:
    – apple
    – carrot

    Rat: oddly indifferent to cheese.
    Tamed by:
    – not cheese
    – right-click

    Villager: good for making cities look populated, the usage of them as guards are not recommended if there aren’t a group of them.

    – bread

    Baby Spiders: harmless
    Not tamable

    Giant Spiders: the opposite of harmless and a huge cave menace.
    Not tamable

    Cave crocodile: watery cave systems greatest foe.

    Alien Ship: Where’s the mouth?
    Not tamable

    Sharks: meat production.
    Not tamable

    Bats: spooky.
    Not tamable

    Giant Vampire Bat: Terribly spooky.

    Demons: yeah, no.

    Various Fish: fish farming here is not really sustainable.

    Slimes: walking gelatin.
    Not tamable
