So I have a shadow on my island that seems to be caused by…nothing? I am on my floating island and there is a small area on it that seems to be covered by a shadow. I planted a new farm in that area, and there is a section of it that will not grow. All conditions seem to be okay other than this shadow. I have gone up another 500 blocks looking for the source of this shadow, but nothing. Any ideas?

Those can show up occasionally. It’s a minetest mapgen bug from what I understand:

Yep, that 16×16 square is what I have. And it seems to be resistant to light. I’ve added lights to this area, and they give light, but my plants won’t grow in this area. Gonna try growing a mushroom tree here.

I could regenerate the area to fix it, but it would destroy your build.

No, that’s fine. I shifted my field a bit and now the dark spot sits comfortably in a wooded area. Thanks.
